Legal Specialist

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial terms and agreements with partners, clients, and providers.
• Act as a strategic business partner by translating complex legal concerns into actionable steps for internal teams.
• Integrate frontier AI models (such as Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT) into daily workflows to analyze contracts and summarize regulations.
• Stay updated on the evolving regulatory landscape, including the EU AI Act and the EU Data Act.
• Periodically revise and update company legal templates to ensure they remain scalable and aligned with market standards.

Requirements

• Law Degree and a Specialized Master’s degree.
• 2 to 5 years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) in a law firm or as in-house counsel, preferably in the SaaS or tech sector.
• Native-level Spanish and professional fluency in English.
• Proven experience and comfort using LLMs and AI tools to increase legal workflow efficiency.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Barcelona, Spain.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional fluency in German, Italian, or French.
• Previous experience working within a high-growth SaaS company.
