About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for legal requests, managing intake triage and routing requests to the appropriate owners.
  • Execute day-to-day CLM operations, including maintaining automated workflows for NDAs, vendor agreements, and commercial contracts.
  • Identify and pilot AI-native approaches to legal operations to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Manage the Legal team’s document repository, standard operating procedures, and onboarding materials.
  • Track and report on key legal operations metrics such as request volume, turnaround times, and outside counsel spend.
  • Coordinate signature processes via DocuSign, ensuring timely execution of agreements.
  • Support entity management, corporate filings, and regulatory compliance data gathering.
  • Assist with outside counsel and vendor management, including budget tracking and billing.

Requirements

  • 2–8 years of experience in legal operations, business operations, contracts management, or a similar role within a technology company or law firm.
  • Hands-on system administration experience, specifically with tools like DocuSign, Ironclad, or Jira.
  • Strong process-building instincts with the ability to create structure and documentation in ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle high volumes and competing demands.
  • A bias toward action and a genuine curiosity about leveraging AI tools to optimize workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a high-growth technology company or the autonomous systems/defense industry.
  • Familiarity with entity management, corporate filings, and e-billing platforms.
  • Experience sourcing and implementing new legal technology solutions.
  • Active California Notary Public commission or willingness to obtain one.
