About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with legal matters primarily focused on Labor and Employment law
- Support special projects in Marketing, Advertising, E-Commerce, data privacy, and litigation
- Conduct legal research and review legal documents for substance, readability, and technical accuracy
- Draft and create presentations and slides to support functional conversations
- Develop risk assessments and mappings related to specific projects
Requirements
- Current law student
- Demonstrated legal research skills and knowledge of legal terminology
- Strong organizational ability and high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting focus
- Must be able to work in-office at the Chicago HQ for the 10-week duration
- Must have work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
