Legal Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist with legal matters primarily focused on Labor and Employment law
• Support special projects in Marketing, Advertising, E-Commerce, data privacy, and litigation
• Conduct legal research and review legal documents for substance, readability, and technical accuracy
• Draft and create presentations and slides to support functional conversations
• Develop risk assessments and mappings related to specific projects

Requirements

• Current law student
• Demonstrated legal research skills and knowledge of legal terminology
• Strong organizational ability and high attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting focus
• Must be able to work in-office at the Chicago HQ for the 10-week duration
• Must have work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
