Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance documentation, records of processing activities, and support data protection impact assessments (DPIAs)
• Work on various data-related topics across gaming and social media verticals, including new features and AB tests
• Track developments in GDPR and US data protection laws (CCPA, COPPA, etc.)
• Draft and update privacy policies, notices, and internal training materials
• Handle data subject rights requests such as access, erasure, and objection
• Support communications with regulators like the CNIL and EDPB
• Monitor digital regulation for games and platforms

Requirements

• Trainee lawyer enrolled at the French Bar School (EFB)
• Seeking a 6-month internship as part of a PPI (individual training project)
• Strong command of GDPR
• Strong knowledge of US data protection laws (CCPA, VCDPA, COPPA)
• Fluency in English and French
• Rigorous, autonomous, and able to summarize complex topics
• Strong interest in digital regulation, tech, and gaming

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in tech law or data protection via internship or apprenticeship
