About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal and legislative history research
  • Draft memoranda, enforcement documents, and legal briefs
  • Analyze legislation and regulations
  • Assist with litigation, including administrative hearings collection actions, and Article 78 proceedings

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in law school for the next year
  • Completion of at least one year of law school
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Demonstrated interest in public service

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in NYC government, election law, campaign finance or a related field
  • Experience in administrative law and/or regulatory enforcement
  • Experience in legislation and regulation
