Legal Intern

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Aid in drafting memoranda, motions, declarations, and legal pleadings
• Provide general assistance on active litigation, including cite-checking
• Support development of new litigation projects
• Perform fact development, background research, or track and analyze bills

Requirements

• Currently matriculated legal student
• Must have completed at least one year of law school
• Based in the U.S. for the entire duration of the internship
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Strong oral communication skills
• Ability to balance multiple assignments and incorporate feedback
• Demonstrated commitment to public interest law, civil rights, and social justice
