About the role

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with digital asset venues, exchanges, custodians, and liquidity providers.
  • Manage trading documentation including ISDA, GMRA, GMSLA, and other industry-standard agreements.
  • Provide legal support for the development and launch of new digital asset products and services.
  • Monitor and advise on UK and global regulatory developments affecting digital assets.
  • Review marketing materials and advise on financial promotions rules.
  • Support licensing applications and ensure compliance with FCA regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain legal templates, policies, and document management practices for the Group Legal department.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor (or significant equivalent experience).
  • Strong academic results, including a 2.1 or above at degree level.
  • Experience working within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Knowledge of digital assets, derivatives, or structured products.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience advising on crypto-related products, services, or counterparties.
  • Understanding of blockchain mechanics, wallet infrastructure, custody models, and stablecoins.
