Legal Counsel - Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Establish Pantheon funds and assist in fundraising, including advising on fund structure and drafting documentation like LPAs and PPMs
• Manage segregated account programmes by drafting and negotiating term sheets and investment management agreements
• Coordinate with internal marketing, investor relations, external counsel, and administrators regarding fund launch and maintenance
• Work with the Compliance team on UK/European regulatory matters, including AIFMD and marketing passports
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and service provider agreements
• Advise staff on legal and regulatory risks and boundaries
• Support investment team divisions with investment transactions, NDAs, and transaction terms

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a valid practising certificate
• Relevant post-qualification experience from a top 10 law firm or in-house position
• Undergraduate Law degree or an undergraduate degree plus a Graduate Diploma in Law
• Strong understanding of UK/European regulatory aspects and fund structuring
