Legal Counsel (Regulatory & Licensing)

Responsibilities

• Lead and project-manage applications for VASP, MiCA, MSB, and other regional financial licenses globally
• Monitor, analyze, and brief the executive team on shifting global crypto regulations including SEC, CFTC, FCA, and MAS developments
• Partner closely with the Compliance team to translate regulatory requirements into concrete operational policies and audit-ready workflows

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer
• At least 3 years of experience specializing in financial regulation
• Deep knowledge of crypto regulatory frameworks, traditional fintech structures, or payment service laws
• Fluency in both English and Chinese
• Familiarity with crypto use cases
• Ability to work independently on complex projects while collaborating effectively within a team
• Exceptional relationship-building skills for interacting with regulators and a proactive approach to risk management
