Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted legal partner to product and engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle
• Advise on product-related legal risks including data practices, AI governance, and regulatory compliance
• Draft, review, and negotiate product-related agreements such as integrations, partnerships, and licensing
• Advise on IP risk allocation, licensing models, and ownership in customer-facing agreements
• Support the protection and enforcement of Legora’s IP and brand, including trademark and domain portfolios
• Develop templates, playbooks, and guidelines to standardize negotiations and improve execution speed

Requirements

• Law degree (LL.M. or equivalent) from Sweden, the UK, or an EU-jurisdiction
• Qualified to practice in Sweden, the UK, or an EU-jurisdiction
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Several years of experience at a top-tier law firm or as in-house counsel with technology and IP exposure
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating technology agreements
• Experience navigating regulatory frameworks for software and AI products
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Meaningful experience working with data privacy
• Experience with intellectual property management, licensing, and enforcement
