Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate operator agreements, agent agreements, and other commercial contracts
• Serve as a legal partner to internal operations teams and external business operators
• Support the execution of corporate development initiatives, including acquisitions and integrations
• Assist with legal due diligence for acquisitions, including review of contracts and corporate records
• Prepare transaction-related documents including NDAs, LOIs, and closing certificates
• Support post-closing integration of acquired entities into the corporate structure
• Develop and improve internal legal templates, playbooks, and contract approval workflows
• Assist in adopting and implementing AI tools and legal tech systems
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters and strategic initiatives

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership
• 0–5 years of legal experience
• Strong drafting, writing, and contract interpretation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with business operators and executives
• Solutions-oriented approach with a focus on enabling business execution

Preferred Qualifications

• In-house, corporate, or M&A experience
• Familiarity with AI tools, contract lifecycle management systems, or legal operations platforms
• Experience in real estate, franchising, mortgage, title, or acquisitions
