Legal Counsel, North & Central America Litigation

Responsibilities

• Support the General Counsel of NCA on corporate-level litigation matters by coordinating with outside counsel on active and threatened lawsuits
• Monitor and provide guidance on hotel-level litigation to ensure corporate interests and risk exposure are managed
• Liaise with the Compliance Team to implement, maintain, and review Data Privacy policies and concerns
• Develop and issue policies for litigation risk mitigation based on regional legal developments
• Conduct corporate and hotel-level training regarding litigation and data privacy
• Maintain litigation trackers and reports for both corporate and hotel-level matters

Requirements

• US-barred attorney with a minimum of 5 years of legal experience
• Experience in general commercial legal support
• Experience with data privacy or compliance-related matters
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and work collaboratively across departments

Preferred Qualifications

• A mix of both in-house and law firm experience
• Direct litigation experience
• Experience within the hospitality industry
