About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the General Counsel of NCA on corporate-level litigation matters by coordinating with outside counsel on active and threatened lawsuits
- Monitor and provide guidance on hotel-level litigation to ensure corporate interests and risk exposure are managed
- Liaise with the Compliance Team to implement, maintain, and review Data Privacy policies and concerns
- Develop and issue policies for litigation risk mitigation based on regional legal developments
- Conduct corporate and hotel-level training regarding litigation and data privacy
- Maintain litigation trackers and reports for both corporate and hotel-level matters
Requirements
- US-barred attorney with a minimum of 5 years of legal experience
- Experience in general commercial legal support
- Experience with data privacy or compliance-related matters
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and work collaboratively across departments
Preferred Qualifications
- A mix of both in-house and law firm experience
- Direct litigation experience
- Experience within the hospitality industry
