About the role
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate loan, vendor, SaaS, and partnership agreements
- Provide legal advisory on digital lending, co-lending, securitization, and debt instruments
- Ensure compliance with RBI, KYC/AML, and digital lending guidelines
- Draft internal legal policies, SOPs, and review operational documentation
- Support regulatory inspections, compliance audits, and data privacy matters
- Handle non-litigation legal support, dispute resolution strategies, and risk assessment
- Liaise with external counsel for litigation follow-ups
Requirements
- LLB degree (LLM preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in NBFC, Fintech, or Financial Services
- Strong understanding of RBI norms, Fintech compliance, and contract law
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with business, compliance, and finance teams
