About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation, review, negotiation, and approval of sales agreements and commercial documentation.
  • Provide legal advice on advertising, sponsorship, licensing, branded content, and partnerships.
  • Support agreements relating to talent participation in commercial campaigns, editorial initiatives, and events.
  • Advise on consumer-facing propositions, digital products, subscriptions, and audience engagement.
  • Provide guidance on digital marketing, social media, influencer activity, and emerging technologies.
  • Advise editorial stakeholders on media law, intellectual property, and content-related legal risks.
  • Review editorial and multimedia content to identify and mitigate legal exposure.
  • Support the resolution of claims, disputes, takedown requests, and rights clearance matters.
  • Advise on the legal and regulatory aspects of staging events, including permits and insurance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional legal experience (in-house or law firm).
  • Professional working proficiency in both Italian and English.
  • Strong expertise in commercial, sales, advertising, marketing, media, and consumer law.
  • Solid understanding of intellectual property, digital media, and social media regulation.
  • Proven ability to deliver practical, commercially focused advice to senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Admission to the bar.
  • Experience in the media or entertainment industry.
  • Knowledge of additional languages.
