Legal Counsel

Responsibilities

• Independently draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements involving nuanced technical, commercial, data protection, privacy, and intellectual property issues
• Drive business outcomes and provide actionable advice to sales leadership, executive management, and other internal stakeholders
• Collaborate across organizations including finance, order management, engineering, product, security, global risk and compliance
• Contribute to broader team initiatives such as sales enablement, AI agentic development, knowledge management and team playbooks

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant post-law school experience
• Accredited law degree
• Current and active license to practice law in the United States
• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, cloud services, and AI governance provisions
• Experience with US and EU privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, and HITECH

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing in-house legal support to global companies
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Exposure to complex procurement processes and government sales
