Legal Counsel

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of litigation and claims, including commercial disputes and product liability matters
• Develop and implement litigation strategy and manage outside counsel
• Oversee case management and monitor legal budgets
• Provide legal advice on commercial and corporate matters, including contracts, marketing, and regulatory compliance
• Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures
• Provide legal training to business clients

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice law in Texas
• 5+ years of litigation experience, including time at a reputable law firm
• Experience with product liability and commercial litigation
• Strong understanding of litigation strategy, discovery management, and risk assessment
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• In-house experience in manufacturing, automotive, technology, or related industries
