Legal Counsel

Responsibilities

• Provide senior legal support and expertise regarding legal issues arising from business activities with customers, partners, and subcontractors
• Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents while managing risk levels
• Support the business in all legal and contractual matters, including claim management and dispute settlement
• Perform contractual and legal evaluations of tender documents
• Proactively manage and instruct litigation, arbitration, or other dispute matters

Requirements

• Law degree from a Spanish university
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a business environment or law firm
• Experience with public tenders
• Native Spanish speaker
• Excellent English language skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master in business law
• Knowledge of Portuguese laws and experience
