Legal Consultant - Financial Services

Responsibilities

• Work with and advise business clients directly, providing guidance and practical solutions for banking matters
• Support legal matters including regulatory advice and contract drafting/reviewing for investment banks
• Analyze new business initiatives and products from a legal perspective
• Monitor and ensure compliance with domestic and international legal requirements
• Promote a culture of compliance and awareness within the business

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in general banking, regulatory compliance, or banking finance
• Strong commercial understanding
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain stakeholder relationships and provide tailored advice

Preferred Qualifications

• In-house legal experience (directly or as a secondee)
