Legal Consultant

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret and negotiate agreements with suppliers
• Manage end-to-end negotiations and coordinate between business, Legal, and Sourcing teams
• Negotiate standard and customized contracts to minimize business risk
• Analyze legacy legal documents for conformance to current policies and regulatory requirements
• Provide guidance and subject matter expertise on documentation to internal partners
• Conduct legal research on technology, intellectual property, and contractual issues

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer
• Significant experience negotiating technology contracts (SaaS, software licensing, cloud, outsourcing)
• Strong knowledge of intellectual property, privacy, and regulatory environments
• Proficiency in Mandarin
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and legal research skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a high-performance environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the financial services industry
• Experience drafting and negotiating customized supply transactions
• Excellent academic credentials
