Legal Billing Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Independently manage electronic billing workflows through Legal Tracker
• Upload invoices and supporting documentation ensuring compliance with corporate billing guidelines
• Serve as the primary point of contact for outside counsel, legal vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Maintain accurate matter and billing set-ups and resolve complex invoice discrepancies
• Track invoice status and implement process adjustments to reduce rejections
• Own the onboarding process for new legal vendors by validating compliance documentation
• Partner with Finance and Accounts Payable teams to ensure timely processing and payment
• Reconcile discrepancies between Legal Tracker and Finance/AP systems
• Run standard billing, accrual, and spend reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing, accounts or corporate operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel with data validation and basic formulas
• Strong foundational accounting and budgeting experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Thomson Reuters’ Legal Tracker
• Experience working for a US multinational company
