Legal Associate

Responsibilities

• Support and lead privacy operations and advisory activities across defined business areas.
• Act as a primary point of contact for Privacy Risk Assessments (PRAs), managing lower-to-medium complexity queries and reporting.
• Provide strategic advice to Local Privacy Advisers on matters including ROPAs, DSARs, incidents, and privacy notice updates.
• Support the negotiation of standard privacy clauses and contracts using established playbooks.
• Contribute to the implementation of privacy-by-design requirements in new projects.
• Collaborate with technology, cyber, and legal stakeholders to manage the intersection of privacy and cyber risk.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of global privacy training strategies and digital resources.

Requirements

• Legally qualified professional.
• 3–5 years of experience in data protection, privacy, or related compliance areas.
• Strong understanding of privacy compliance processes, including PIA and DSAR handling.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a global environment.
• Practical fluency with technology functionality, including digital tools, platforms, and data flows.
• Ability to own and deliver workstreams with limited supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Privacy certification (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPP/US).
• Exposure to multi-jurisdictional privacy requirements.
• Experience with technology, cybersecurity, digital risk, or product counseling in a business environment.
