Legal Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide transaction-related legal support for blended finance projects, including preparing and negotiating loan documentation, mandate letters, and term sheets.
• Support the Trust Funds unit by reviewing administration agreements, framework agreements, and other trust fund documents.
• Assist with debt mobilization initiatives by preparing and reviewing participation agreements, credit insurance policies, and intercreditor agreements.
• Support the Syndications Department regarding B Loan programs, parallel lending, and mobilization platforms like MCPP.
• Develop internal guidance and knowledge management resources, including the improvement of specimens, forms, and templates.
• Liaise with external counsel and assist with administrative coordination within the Legal Department.

Requirements

• Relevant undergraduate university degree or at least 5 years of relevant paralegal experience in a law firm or financial institution.
• Experience drafting and reviewing legal documentation.
• Experience in cross-border syndications and lending.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in word processing software, information databases, and internet resources.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines in a multicultural environment.
