About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support across Estate Planning, Corporate, Real Estate, and Litigation departments.
- Assist with the preparation, organization, and filing of legal documents, including tax returns, IRS filings, and corporate records.
- Manage litigation support tasks such as preparing pleadings, motions, and coordinating court calendars, hearings, and depositions.
- Coordinate real estate transactions by preparing and electronically filing documents with courts and recording offices.
- Maintain attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, telephone calls, and attorney time entries/billing information.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical client and matter files using document management systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3-5 years of legal support experience with strong litigation support skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Typing speed of 55+ wpm.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong grammar and proofreading abilities.
- High level of organizational skills and the ability to multi-task under deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Estate Planning, Health Care, or Corporate Finance.
- Knowledge of state, federal, and appeal court procedures, including Pacer and ECF filing.
- Familiarity with NetDocuments, Intapp Open, FileTrail, or Chrome River.
