Legacy Consultant

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, tailored legacy administration support to a diverse portfolio of charity clients
• Manage a varied caseload of pecuniary, residuary, and complex or contentious estate matters
• Proactively progress estate matters to reduce delays and unlock income for clients
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with charity clients
• Monitor and reconcile income, resolve identity and estate account issues, and review estate valuations
• Collaborate with contentious probate, charity probate, property, and governance specialists
• Contribute to team knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Experience using and maintaining databases and case management platforms (e.g., First Class 4)
• Previous experience in legacy administration or a strong interest in the field
• Basic understanding of Wills, Probate, and Trust law
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
• Strong attention to detail and high-level numerary skills
• Interest in undertaking professional qualifications like the ILM Certificate in Charity Legacy Administration
