Lecturer

Responsibilities

• Teach 16 credit hours per academic year at the undergraduate level in sub-disciplines such as Population, Organismal, Cell, or Molecular Biology
• Contribute meaningfully to curriculum development within the Department of Biology
• Advise and mentor undergraduate students to support their academic and professional growth
• Engage in service to the Department and the broader College community
• Support the success of women of African descent in STEM disciplines through excellence in education and mentorship

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Biology or a closely related field
• Ability to teach 16 credit hours per academic year
• Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire (sponsorship is not available)
