About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach 16 credit hours per academic year at the undergraduate level in sub-disciplines such as Population, Organismal, Cell, or Molecular Biology
- Contribute meaningfully to curriculum development within the Department of Biology
- Advise and mentor undergraduate students to support their academic and professional growth
- Engage in service to the Department and the broader College community
- Support the success of women of African descent in STEM disciplines through excellence in education and mentorship
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Biology or a closely related field
- Ability to teach 16 credit hours per academic year
- Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire (sponsorship is not available)
