Responsibilities
- Teach introductory general or organic chemistry courses at the undergraduate level
- Deliver instruction through a combination of lectures and laboratory courses
- Contribute effectively to curriculum development efforts within the department
- Provide academic advising and mentoring to students
- Perform service to the department and the college
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field
- Primary expertise in Analytical, Industrial, Inorganic, or Physical Chemistry
- Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire
- Commitment to excellence in teaching and supporting women and underrepresented minority students in STEM
