Lecturer

Responsibilities

• Teach introductory general or organic chemistry courses at the undergraduate level
• Deliver instruction through a combination of lectures and laboratory courses
• Contribute effectively to curriculum development efforts within the department
• Provide academic advising and mentoring to students
• Perform service to the department and the college

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field
• Primary expertise in Analytical, Industrial, Inorganic, or Physical Chemistry
• Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire
• Commitment to excellence in teaching and supporting women and underrepresented minority students in STEM
