Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Clinical Education

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality teaching, assessment, and curriculum development for the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program
• Focus on General Practice and Primary Health Care disciplines
• Engage in scholarly research and professional activities relevant to the field of medicine
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the medical curriculum
• For Senior Lecturer roles: make significant, independent, and original contributions to scholarship and research

Requirements

• Medical degree
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (or comparable equivalent)
• AHPRA registration or eligibility for registration as a specialist general practitioner
• Significant clinical experience in general practice
• Highly developed communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters or Doctoral qualification in medical education or a relevant clinical discipline
• Demonstrated experience in clinical education within academic or clinical settings
