Lecturer, Respiratory Care

Responsibilities

• Support the respiratory care program's effectiveness, continuous improvement, accreditation, and assessment processes
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accreditation standards
• Coordinate student clinical experiences to foster learning, engagement, and professional development
• Plan, organize, and teach courses while providing timely feedback to promote student success
• May serve as the Director of Clinical Education (DCE)
• Participate in service and engagement activities that support the program, department, college, and university
• Maintain a consistent, in-person presence on location throughout the standard work week

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in respiratory care or a health-related field
• Three or more years of clinical experience in respiratory care
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or a health-related field
• One year of experience as an instructor in a respiratory care program
• Experience with accreditation requirements, curriculum development, supervision, instruction, and evaluation
