Lecturer, Radiologic Technology

Responsibilities

• Support the radiologic technology program's effectiveness, continuous improvement, accreditation, and assessment processes.
• Coordinate student clinical experiences, including communication with affiliate sites and monitoring student progress.
• Deliver classroom and clinical instruction to prepare graduates for success in the radiologic sciences.
• Facilitate daily program operations and ongoing program evaluation and development.
• Participate in service and engagement activities that support the program, department, college, and university.
• Maintain a consistent, in-person presence on-site to support students and collaborate with colleagues.

Requirements

• Earned bachelor's degree in education or a health-related field.
• Three or more years of clinical experience in radiography.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration in radiography.
• Ability to enroll in and complete a master's degree program to maintain accreditation standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or a health-related field.
• One year of experience as an instructor in a radiologic technology program.
• Experience with accreditation requirements, curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.
• Experience coordinating a radiologic technology or other health-related program.
