Lecturer - Pharmacy

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver course material for lectures and workshops in Pharmacotherapeutics
• Supervise honours and postgraduate research student projects
• Contribute to pharmacy curriculum matters as part of the therapeutics team
• Foster an outstanding student experience through student-centred learning activities
• Engage in teaching and learning research activities to identify educational improvements
• Promote student learning through engagement with industry and work-integrated learning opportunities
• Undertake research with the potential to impact policy and practice in the wider community

Requirements

• A degree in Pharmacy with substantial professional experience
• At least 3 years of experience working within a clinical pharmacy environment
• Current professional registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA (or a registrable degree)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated commitment to Pharmacy and Medical Sciences

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience teaching therapeutics in a higher education setting
• Experience with technology-enhanced learning
• Experience in prescribing
