Lecturer - Pharmacy

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the delivery of a contemporary pharmacy curriculum, focusing on pharmacy practice, therapeutics, vaccination, and pharmacist prescribing.
• Develop and deliver course materials and assessments informed by current clinical knowledge.
• Foster student engagement and promote an outstanding learning experience across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
• Supervise honours and postgraduate research student projects.
• Participate in pharmacy curriculum development and leadership activities, including course management.
• Engage with industry and community stakeholders to support work-integrated learning and employability initiatives.

Requirements

• A degree in Pharmacy with substantial professional experience.
• At least 3 years of experience working within a clinical pharmacy environment.
• Current professional registration as a Pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to pharmacy practice.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience teaching therapeutics or pharmacy practice in a higher education setting.
• Experience with technology-enhanced learning.
• Experience delivering vaccinations and related training.
• Credentialing for expanded scope of practice.
