About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, student-centred teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programs.
- Lead elements of course and program coordination and contribute to curriculum development.
- Advance a portfolio of scholarly research and outputs with potential for impact on nursing practice.
- Support high-quality supervision for higher degree research (HDR) candidates.
- Build positive relationships with students and collaborate with external partners to expand work-integrated learning (WIL) opportunities.
Requirements
- Unrestricted Ahpra registration as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- A Masters qualification in Nursing (or equivalent) and/or a PhD in Nursing or a related area.
- Demonstrated excellence in designing and delivering inclusive, student-centred learning and assessment.
- A proven track record of research publication and success in attracting research grant funding.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to build productive external partnerships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Endorsement to prescribe as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner.
- Specialized expertise in mental health nursing, aged care, or infection prevention and control.
