Responsibilities

• Teach first-year legal writing courses, focusing on objective analysis, research, and writing in the first semester, and persuasive writing and oral advocacy in the second semester.
• Teach upper-level advanced writing courses.
• Participate in faculty meetings and exercise full faculty voting rights.
• Maintain a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning.
• Engage in academic scholarship.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree is required.
• Commitment to Christian faith and the University mission.
• Facility with online instructional technology.
• Willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous professional work experience, specifically including appellate writing.
• Potential for transitioning to a tenure-track position.
