Lecturer in Statistics

Responsibilities

• Teach one or more undergraduate courses in statistics or quantitative methods for business in a face-to-face classroom setting.
• Prepare course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments, consistent with departmental learning outcomes.
• Maintain regular communication with students and provide timely, constructive feedback on assignments.
• Submit final grades and fulfill other instructional responsibilities in accordance with College policies.
• Work collaboratively with department faculty to ensure course quality and consistency.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated ability to teach business courses effectively at the undergraduate level.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate (Ph.D., DBA, JD, or other appropriate terminal degree) in a related field.
• Professional experience in the business sector.
• Prior college teaching experience in a traditional classroom setting.
• Experience using learning management systems such as Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard.
