About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach one section of KIN 101 (Lifetime Physical Fitness and Activities) during a four-week block session from March 15th to April 7th, 2027
- Provide instruction in the major components of fitness and the physiological basis of fitness
- Guide students through the evaluation of personal fitness and the creation of individual fitness programming
- Lead exploration into the intersection of diet, stress, resilience, and physical activity on health
- Facilitate instruction and participation in lifetime physical activities, including strength/resistance training, flexibility, and cardiovascular exercise
Requirements
- Master's degree in Kinesiology or a closely related field is required
- Ability to teach full-time during the intensive four-week block schedule
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Kinesiology or a closely related field
- Previous experience teaching at the college level
