About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach one section of KIN 101 (Lifetime Physical Fitness and Activities) during a four-week block session from March 15th to April 7th, 2027
  • Provide instruction in the major components of fitness and the physiological basis of fitness
  • Guide students through the evaluation of personal fitness and the creation of individual fitness programming
  • Lead exploration into the intersection of diet, stress, resilience, and physical activity on health
  • Facilitate instruction and participation in lifetime physical activities, including strength/resistance training, flexibility, and cardiovascular exercise

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Kinesiology or a closely related field is required
  • Ability to teach full-time during the intensive four-week block schedule

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Kinesiology or a closely related field
  • Previous experience teaching at the college level
