Lecturer in Kinesiology

Responsibilities

• Teach up to five sections of introductory Kinesiology courses using the college's unique block schedule.
• Deliver instruction for various topics including Sports and American Society, Lifetime Physical Fitness, Health and Wellness, Coaching, and Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries.
• Engage students through the "One Course At A Time" model, which allows for intensive, focused instruction.
• Foster strong student engagement and close faculty-student relationships within small class sizes (limited to 24 students).

Requirements

• Master's degree in Kinesiology or a closely related field is required.
• Ability to teach on-site at the Mount Vernon, Iowa campus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Kinesiology or a closely related field.
• Previous experience teaching at the college level.
