Lecturer in Economics and Business Statistics

Responsibilities

• Provide undergraduate instruction in introductory economics and business statistics courses
• Maintain a teaching load of 24 credits per academic year
• Assess student work and provide detailed feedback on content knowledge, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Mentor undergraduate students through one-on-one interactions, group sessions, and independent study
• Participate in department meetings, committees, and task forces
• Engage in ongoing professional development and activities required for AACSB accreditation

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Economics or a related field
• Recent engagement with industry
• Compliance with AACSB faculty qualifications
• Proven teaching experience
• Demonstrated commitment to student mentoring and excellence in teaching

Preferred Qualifications

• Terminal degree in business or a related field (Ph.D., D.B.A., or J.D.)
• Demonstrated excellence in both teaching and research
• Specific teaching experience in economics or statistics
• Interest or experience in coordinating curriculum and co-curricular programming
