Responsibilities

  • Teach First-Year Composition courses for the Fall 2026 semester
  • Guide students in attending to the context and purpose of their writing
  • Instruct students on selecting credible, relevant sources to develop original ideas
  • Facilitate learning outcomes related to critical reading and written communication
  • Manage small class sections with a maximum enrollment of 18 students

Requirements

  • Master's degree in English
  • Documented teaching experience and pedagogy at the college level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse groups of students and faculty
  • Flexibility in scheduling

Preferred Qualifications

  • Concentration in Composition & Rhetoric or a related field
