Lecturer in Accounting

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation
• Manage a course load of 4 courses per semester (fall and spring)
• Handle multiple course preparations across the accounting curriculum
• Participate in departmental and college-wide meetings
• Support departmental and business school recruiting events
• Advise student clubs

Requirements

• Terminal degree in Accounting or a master’s degree in Accounting & Taxation from an accredited institution
• Ability and willingness to teach multiple course preparations

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior university-level teaching experience
• Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA
