  • Lead three discussion sections for the writing-intensive course "Great Performances"
  • Attend required performances, including weekend evening events
  • Facilitate writing workshops and attend lectures
  • Hold weekly office hours for individual student consultation
  • Evaluate, grade, and provide feedback on student writing and materials
  • Participate in weekly instructional team meetings for course planning
  • Attend mandatory Comparative Literature GSI/Lecturer training

Requirements

  • Terminal degree (PhD or MFA) in a humanities field
  • Expertise in Performance Studies, Music, Theater, or Dance
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and instruction

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience teaching writing-intensive courses (such as LSA FYWR)
