Leave & Benefits Lead

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end administration for all global leave types, including medical, parental, disability, and protected leaves.
• Act as the primary confidential point of contact for employees and leaders regarding leave lifecycles and return-to-work processes.
• Manage the Canadian benefits portfolio, including vendor management, enrollment, and record maintenance.
• Facilitate annual renewal and open enrollment processes, including the development of educational materials and communication strategies.
• Oversee data integration and file management workflows within HRIS and carrier systems to ensure data integrity.
• Partner with Payroll and HR Business Partners to ensure accurate pay and consistent policy application.
• Lead process improvement projects to automate and optimize benefits and leave workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with a specialized focus on benefits and leave administration.
• Deep expertise in Canadian benefits management, including plan design, renewals, and vendor relations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong project management skills and experience driving process improvements.
• Proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing benefits or leave administration in a multi-jurisdictional or global environment.
