Leasing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments by generating traffic, qualifying prospects, and preparing documentation
• Interact with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy
• Accompany prospects to model homes and discuss layouts, facilities, and lease terms
• Handle resident requests and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner
• Maintain curb appeal and ensure model apartments are ready for showings
• Conduct market surveys of competitor properties
• Process administrative forms, reports, and resident files
• Assist with lease renewals and resident retention programs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience in leasing or sales-oriented environments
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
• Ability to use social media applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of sales techniques and real estate market conditions
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
