Leasing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects and record visits on guest cards
• Demonstrate community features and benefits to close sales
• Process applications, secure deposits, and manage move-in readiness
• Assist with lease renewals and distribute renewal notices
• Accept rental payments and maintain accurate resident files
• Input information into Yardi Voyager accurately and timely
• Handle resident requests and coordinate with the maintenance team
• Contribute to community cleanliness and assist in planning resident events
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and ADA regulations

Requirements

• 2+ years of sales or customer relations experience
• Proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel), internet, and email
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Strong communication and active listening skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with low-income housing and tax credits
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
