Leasing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, demonstrating community features and benefits to close sales
• Manage the leasing process from application and deposit to move-in orientation
• Maintain accurate resident files and input lease information into Yardi Voyager
• Handle administrative tasks including accepting rental payments and updating availability reports
• Support resident retention by addressing requests, concerns, and maintenance service requests
• Assist in planning and hosting community resident events
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and company policies

Requirements

• 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience
• Proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel), internet, and email
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Strong communication and active listening skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with low-income housing and tax credits
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
