Leasing Manager

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects by assessing criteria and utilizing guest cards
• Prepare move-in packages, lease paperwork, and process applications for approval
• Maintain accurate records of telephone and in-person visits and update guest cards
• Inspect model units and market-ready apartments to communicate service needs
• Monitor lease renewals and distribute follow-up notices to residents
• Update availability reports and input information into the Yardi system accurately
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and gather market competition data
• Accept rental payments and assist the management team with various community tasks

Requirements

• Two years of relevant customer service experience
• Experience in sales, public relations, or working with the public
• Fair Housing Certification (or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospects)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and community software
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns professionally
