Leasing Manager

Responsibilities

• Identify new locations and opportunities for relocations, brand new sites, or replacements to support Net Restaurant Growth targets.
• Negotiate lease terms with landlords to ensure sustainable business models for franchisees and minimize risk.
• Manage the existing lease portfolio, monitoring upcoming renewals and options to exercise.
• Negotiate lease extensions and financial contributions to assist franchisees with required restaurant remodels.
• Build and maintain a network of territory developers, agents, and major landlords to ensure Subway remains top of mind for new developments.
• Assist franchisees with property maintenance or upgrade issues that fall under landlord responsibility.
• Submit Site Reviews with supporting demographic mapping data for approval.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Property Management, Commercial, or Project Management areas.
• 5-8 years of experience in landlord leasing, preferably within a franchise environment.
• Proven expertise in lease negotiations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
