Leasing Consultant

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects by assessing criteria and utilizing guest cards
• Prepare move-in packages, lease paperwork, and process applications
• Maintain accurate records of telephone and in-person visits
• Inspect model units and market-ready apartments to communicate service needs
• Assist with resident retention by monitoring and distributing renewal notices
• Update availability reports and input information into the Yardi system
• Accept rental payments and assist the management team with various administrative tasks
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and gather market competition information

Requirements

• Two years of experience in a relevant customer service role
• Experience working with the public or in a sales capacity
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and community software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain it prior to interacting with prospects
• Ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns professionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual skills in Spanish
