Leasing Consultant

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects by covering all criteria
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork
• Record telephone and in-person visits on appropriate reports
• Inspect models and market-ready units
• Process applications, including credit and rental history checks
• Assist in monitoring renewals and distributing notices
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and market competition
• Accept rental payments and input information into the Yardi System
• Implement community policies and assist management with various tasks

Requirements

• Two years of experience in relevant customer service
• Experience in sales or working with the public
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and community software
• Ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns
• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain it

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish
