Leasing Consultant

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects by assessing criteria and utilizing guest cards
• Prepare move-in packages, lease paperwork, and process applications for approval
• Maintain accurate records of telephone and in-person visits and update availability reports
• Inspect model units and market-ready apartments to communicate service needs
• Assist with resident retention by monitoring renewals and distributing notices
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and gather market competition data
• Accept rental payments and input information accurately into the Yardi system
• Represent the company professionally and implement community policies consistently

Requirements

• Two years of relevant customer service experience
• Experience in public relations, sales, or working with the public
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and community software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain it
• Ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish
