Leasing Consultant

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects by conducting tours and gathering necessary information
• Prepare move-in packages, lease paperwork, and process applications
• Maintain accurate records of telephone and in-person visits using community software
• Inspect model units and market-ready apartments to ensure they meet standards
• Assist with resident retention by monitoring renewals and distributing notices
• Accept rental payments and accurately input data into the Yardi system
• Monitor local market competition and advertising effectiveness
• Provide high-quality customer service to resolve resident concerns professionally

Requirements

• Two years of relevant customer service experience
• Experience in sales, public relations, or working with the public
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and community software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain it prior to interacting with prospects
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual skills in Spanish
